I'm not sure which program is right for me — Elite, Ultimate, or Inner Circle?
We offer three programs at different commitment levels:
- Elite (6 months) — for working professionals who want trading as a serious side income.
- Ultimate (1 year) — for those aiming to become full-time professional traders.
- Inner Circle (3 years) — invite-only, for our most committed students.

What's the difference between Elite and Ultimate?
Elite is a 6-month program designed for part-time traders. Ultimate is a 12-month intensive that includes everything in Elite plus personal mentoring with VRD Rao, algo trading, advanced options strategies, an investing masterclass, and roughly 3x more live trading hours. For the most dedicated students, Inner Circle is our 3-year invite-only program with even deeper mentoring and extended access.
Do I need to complete Elite before joining Ultimate?
No. Each program is fully standalone. You can enroll directly in Ultimate regardless of your experience level. Inner Circle is invite-only — selection is based on your engagement and commitment, not prior course completion.
Can I upgrade from Elite to Ultimate later?
Sorry, we don't allow upgrades between programs because of the incompatibility of teaching methodology.
Is there a free trial or sample class?
We don't offer free trials, but feel free to explore our YouTube channel, free trading tools and other educational resources such as quizzes, articles etc.
Is this right for me?
Will this fit your background and goals
I'm a complete beginner. Will I be able to keep up?
Yes. All our programs start from the absolute basics — what a share is, how IPOs work, how to open a demat account. Most of our students join with zero stock market knowledge.
I'm a working professional with limited time. Will I be able to manage?
Yes — all programs are designed with working professionals in mind. The knowledge sessions are available 24x7 and all the live sessions are recorded so that you can watch at your own convenience.
I want to become a full-time trader. Which program is right for me?
If you are serious about full-time trading, the Ultimate Traders Program will be ideal for you. For an even more committed path with extended mentoring, consider Inner Circle (invite-only). Explore the program pages for more details.
I'm from a non-finance background (IT, design, marketing, etc). Will I struggle?
No, trading doesn't require a finance degree. Our students come from IT, marketing, design, biotech, medicine, and many other fields — they all do fine. We teach in plain language with real-world examples.
I already have years of trading experience. Is there anything new for me?
The Ultimate Traders Program is well-suited for experienced traders. The advanced options module, algo trading and backtesting framework (using AI), and personal mentoring sessions help experienced traders fix specific gaps and build systematic processes around what's already working. Inner Circle goes even deeper for the most committed traders.
How the learning works
Format, schedule, and what to expect
Are classes online or offline?
All classes are online via Zoom, with interactive Q&A. Sessions are also recorded, so you can catch up if you miss one.
What are the class timings?
Live sessions run weekly with recordings. For the full schedule — live trading sessions, mentoring slots, and recorded modules — contact us on WhatsApp. The schedule is published per batch.
How big are the batches?
Maximum 25 students per batch. We deliberately keep them small so every student is actually heard during live sessions.
How do I clarify doubts during the program?
Three channels:
- Ask live during sessions
- Post in the student community
- Raise it during your 1:1 mentoring slot (Ultimate & Inner Circle students)
What does personal mentoring include? (Ultimate & Inner Circle)
Direct 1:1 sessions with VRD Rao for trade reviews, strategy discussions, and career guidance. Mentoring is delivered through dedicated slots, not ad-hoc messaging.
Is the algo trading module suitable for non-programmers? (Ultimate & Inner Circle)
Yes. We teach algo from scratch — no prior coding background needed. You'll learn to build, backtest, and deploy systematic strategies step by step.
Will I get a certificate on completion?
Yes. Students who complete the Ultimate Traders Program or Inner Circle receive a Certificate of Completion.
Will I be ready to trade with real money after the course?
That's the goal — but it depends on you, not just us. We give you the framework, the strategies, and the mentoring. Trading proficiency comes from disciplined practice over time, not from any course alone. We strongly recommend paper trading on iStox before risking real capital.

How long you have access and what's flexible
How long do I have access to course content?
- Elite: The course content will be available for 6 months.
- Ultimate: The course content will be available for 1 year.
- Inner Circle: The course content will be available for 3 years.
Can I extend my access after the course ends?
Yes, extensions are available subject to availability. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp.
Can I pause the course if I fall behind?
Yes — students can pause live sessions once, for up to 3 months. During the pause, we recommend watching the foundation videos. The pause facility is allowed only once per student.
How is the course content released — all at once or gradually?
We don't put restrictions on how long one should wait before watching the next set of videos. However, our learning platform makes sure that the students don't skip lessons. So, one has to complete the previous lessons before the subsequent lessons are unlocked.
Payments & refunds
How payments work and our refund stance
Can I pay in installments?
We (i.e. VRD Nation) do not offer any installment option but there's a provision of paying in installments. At the time of making the payment, you can pick the EMI offers by the several banks listed there. In other words, the installment option is provided by the banks, not us. Contact us on WhatsApp to get more information.
What happens if I miss an installment?
You need to pay the installments to the bank, not us. You can call them directly to discuss this matter.
Do you have a refund policy?
We don't offer refunds, due to the nature of the service.
Can my spouse/friend share my course access?
No. Course access is per-student and non-transferable. Sharing or redistributing course material is treated seriously — we will terminate access and pursue legal action under copyright law.

Is Market Pulse really free?
Most of the features of Market Pulse are free for public. Some of the features are reserved for our students. There's no paid feature on Market Pulse.
What is the Screener?
Our screener bundles 20+ curated VRD Strategy Scans — Momentum Breakout, Mean Reversion, Gap & Go, Volume Surge, and more. Each scan explains the logic behind it and when to use it, so it doubles as a learning tool.
Do I need to enroll in a course to use these tools?
Most of the features of Market Pulse and Screener are free for public. Some of the features are reserved for our students.

Who is VRD Rao?
Founder of VRD Nation. MBA Finance from UCLA Anderson, post graduation from IIM (Mumbai). 15+ years US corporate experience, 2 years in Japan. Full-time trader since 2016.
Do you give stock tips or trading calls?
No. We strictly follow SEBI guidelines — we never give stock tips, trade recommendations, or 'calls'. We don't run paid Telegram or WhatsApp groups. We teach you how to think for yourself.
Do you manage trading accounts on behalf of students?
No. We don't manage anyone's account. Trading decisions are always yours.
Do you guarantee returns?
No, and we never will. Anyone guaranteeing stock market returns is misleading you. Returns depend on market conditions and individual discipline. We teach you the craft — outcomes are yours to earn.
